Roselyn Ragozine is a certified yoga instructor of fifteen years and a life-long practitioner.
Roe hails from Girard, Ohio where she grew up studying dance from the age of three with the professional adagio team of Woods & Bray. Classical ballet and jazz were her areas of concentration. After an illness sidetracked her dance career just as she was slated to turn professional, Roe returned to college to pursue her degree in Respiratory Therapy. She worked in this field for ten years before giving it up to stay at home and raise her two sons and two daughters.
She again became involved with ballet as her daughters performed. This led her back to the dance floor and to the yoga mat. Roe went on to study with Harriet “Bhumi” Russell in Cleveland, Ohio and the renowned Amrit Desai, founder of the Kripalu Center in Massachusetts and Amrit Yoga near Jacksonville, Florida. She also trained in Stott Pilates and completed training in Yoga Nidra with the beloved “Gurudev” Amrit Desai.
Roe has been practicing and teaching in the Mahoning Valley since 2000. Her classes are known to be physically challenging, spiritually awakening and mentally satisfying.
Roselyn is known for her warm smile, open heart and comforting demeanor.
